You won’t see me fall!


I know people, 
my goals are up high and tall ! 
You might see me struggle, 
but you won’t see me fall ! 

Everyday I fight this battle,
between being strong and then getting weak! 
but I start a new day with, 
my motivation and walk towards the peak! 

There are thousands and thousands, 
of bumps on my way! 
but no matter how hard it gets, 
I will make everyone proud and slay! 

People will always try and try, 
to keep me down! 
but they don’t know how strong I am, 
that I will never let myself breakdown! 

To every single person,
who once said, “You can’t do it”! 
I will give my best to prove them wrong, 
and one day they will definitely admit! 

I don’t care how many people, 
doubt on my talks and words! 
Unless I got my back, 
with positivity and wings like those birds! 

No, I am not afraid at all, 
Not afraid to fail ! 
Because I strongly believe that, 
I can make it happen and then prevail ! 

Sometimes, I question myself,
“why I even started?” 
but then it shows me vision, 
and that makes me feel light hearted ! 

I know my imagination is filled, 
with imaginary dreams and hopes! 
but one day you all will see me, 
Climbing up to my dreams on those ropes! 

I know people, 
my goals are up high and tall ! 
You might see me struggle, 
but you won’t see me fall !

I glanced at my wrist watch, It was 7:10am and he was already 10 minutes late. My heart bumped with every second that passed in that cold winter morning. Even it was the coldest day of winter, the sun was bright in the sky, bringing joy to my heart.  Even the coldness upon my face was refreshing and my body felt cozy inside that warm red coat that he gifted me.  After a while, I saw him walking towards me. The winter wind howled through the desolate marsh and bit at his frozen skin. The world seemed to lie barren and lifeless before him. Ice had gently put blankets on the sidewalks that he walked on.  My face glowed with smile. When I saw him, I fell in love all at a once.                            Time sailed and its been almost a year, right? I know that pretty much things swapped this past year, You! Me! and that universe we created. I know that there is no reason to bleed out these words for you. But, I just want to cascade this heaviness that I am carrying inside, since long.  I want to take this moment out, to thank you. Thank you for all that rough and tousled days you gave me because in this journey from hating me and then loving me, I found my inner self.  After you left, things went pretty bizarre. I was slowly breaking down and tearing apart. My heart that once laughed became hollow and my smile that had been so quick was then only a mask to protect myself from questions related to you.                              I woke up and find myself cold, I found myself in another world- a world of suffering. As, the numbness of sleep slowly faded from my limbs, I felt dead. I opened my eyes and gasped in a breath, but nothing came and I choked on my own dry tongue.  There was a silence to my soul as I was falling under the frost.  I could feel my heartbeat slowing down thinking about you. I woke up another day without you. In the space that should be filled with your love, keeping my soul aloft- there was a void so black that no light could penetrate.  I remember how one day earlier we were talking about spending cold winter nights in a cozy bed, together and next day I could feel your cold feet on my arms.
